Valley Ridge Furniture: Run by the Hicks Family Since 1981

In 1981, Eric and Kathy Hicks left secure jobs to open Valley Ridge Furniture in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Their son Scott runs the store today. In this film, Eric and Scott talk about how it started, what it was like working side by side, and why Valley Ridge chose quality over competing with the big chains. Today we ship furniture across Canada every week. Our 28,000 sq ft showroom is on Route 102 in Island View, just outside Fredericton.
