This Was Bad...Really Bad

This is just scratching the surface of what was the most toxic, cringe and thankfully short lived period in my life. I've gone through much worse but this is the period where I looked at my situation, accepted it and thought, How can I make this nightmare worse? I was technically homeless, bartending while moonlighting as a 'shot girl' for dive bars, chasing love and stability because I thought my life depended on it, betrayal, abuse, denial, fights, police, narrowly escaping death a few times, family domestics - I use the word chaos a lot in this story because that's the best word to summarize this period because it was. This is just ONE tale from a mere 6 month period where so much horrifying crap was packed in, it gives me anxiety til this day to reflect even fractionally upon. I thought I had all of these choices but in reality I barely had one. If you want to hear more stories from this time, I'm happy to share. If it keeps you from making the same mistakes, that's a win!
