✨ Chumbana Pookondu Moodi | Lazar ✨ A featured musical performance from Saama Sangeethika. Step into a world of gentle romantic sentiment, emotional classical grace, and golden 1990s Malayalam cinema nostalgia with this soul-stirring rendition of "Chumbanappoo Kondu Moodi," performed with steady vocal control, clarity, and deep "bhava" by Lazar. This immortal classic belongs to the landmark 1993 family drama "Bandhukkal Shathrukkal", written and directed by master auteur Sreekumaran Thampi. The song stands as a monumental double artistic achievement by Sreekumaran Thampi himself, who composed both the deeply emotional music—set in the hauntingly romantic framework of Raga Charukesi—and the tender, poetry-laden lyrics. The original track was brought to life by the divine, golden voice of Ganalandham K.J. Yesudas. On screen, it was immortalized alongside Jayaram and Rohini, remaining a deeply cherished melody in Malayalam film history. A Special Note: We hope Lazar's sincere attempt to capture the delicate vocal glides, the calm classical aesthetic, and the immense nostalgic warmth of this Sreekumaran Thampi double milestone touches your heart deeply.
