DreamTapir食梦貘

This work was independently completed by me personally using AI. The Dream Tapir is an animated short film that blends Eastern fantasy, dreamcore, and real-world issues. Aniwei, a comic creator, gradually loses his job, his partners, and his creative confidence under the impact of AI (artificial intelligence), and uses “ONEIROFUL” to enter a dream where he can escape reality. When the dream spirals out of control, Moqi, a dream tapir girl, breaks into it and discovers that this bizarre, kaleidoscopic world is in fact a psychological projection of Aniwei after he has been consumed by anxiety, loss, and nightmares. As Moqi ventures deeper into the dream, she searches through the constantly collapsing illusions for the “nightmare” that truly traps him—ultimately, what he must face is not the monster in the dream, but the self that refuses to wake up.
