You Can Quote the Bible and Still Be Living a Lie | Fr. Dave Concepcion

You can know the Bible, quote Scripture, and still miss what God is asking of you. In this powerful Catholic homily, Fr. Dave Concepcion reflects on the temptations of Jesus in the desert and the dangers of living a faith that exists only in words. Even Satan used Scripture when tempting Jesus. So knowing Bible verses is not the same as living according to God's Word. Fr. Dave challenges us to examine our desire for money, recognition, appearances, and the approval of others. None of these things can save us. True faith is not about looking holy, receiving applause, or impressing people. It is about allowing God's Word to change the way we live. Are you following God's Word—or only quoting the parts you like? #FrDaveConcepcion #CatholicHomily #BibleTeaching #CatholicFaith #ChristianLiving
