This year’s Next Generation Rising Star Award will be presented to Rintaro Sasaki, a U.S.-based baseball player. Just two days earlier, on Tuesday, September 15 (PT), YOSHIKI appeared at Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco, one of the world’s largest AI and technology events. This marked his third consecutive appearance, making him the only Japanese participant to appear at the event for three consecutive years. This year’s event brought together some of the world’s leading figures in AI and technology, including OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, and Anthropic co-founder and CEO Dario Amodei. The lineup also featured prominent figures from a wide range of fields, including Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and actor and producer Reese Witherspoon. During a session titled “YOSHIKI’s Human Element: AI, Art, and Ethics,” YOSHIKI spoke with Paula Goldman, Executive Vice President and Chief Ethical and Humane Use Officer at Salesforce. They discussed the creative possibilities of AI, the ethics and responsibilities surrounding its use, and its impact on art and creativity. The session drew strong interest from the audience and generated significant attention at the event, once again highlighting YOSHIKI’s global presence. YOSHIKI CHANNEL will also feature footage from his appearance at Dreamforce 2026. Following Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco and the awards ceremony in Los Angeles, YOSHIKI will continue his exceptionally busy international schedule. On Monday, September 21, a national holiday in Japan, he will make a whirlwind same-day trip to Japan. A live broadcast featuring YOSHIKI while he is traveling within Japan is also scheduled for 7:30 PM (Japan Time) that evening. Afterward, YOSHIKI will head to New York, where it was announced today that he will become the first Japanese artist to perform at the Global Citizen Festival 2026. The festival will take place on Saturday, September 26, on the Great Lawn in Central Park. YOSHIKI is scheduled to perform before an audience of approximately 60,000, bringing together classical and rock music on one of the world’s biggest stages.
