"බුදු විය ගෞතම මෙම කපටා" (Budu Viya Gauthama Mema Kapata) — "In this aeon, Gautama became the Buddha." A cinematic Sinhala Buddhist devotional chant by Sameera Balasooriya, tracing the four watches of the night beneath the sacred Bodhi tree—the night Prince Siddhartha awakened as the Supreme Buddha. 🪷 පෙර යම (First Watch) — The great wisdom of seeing the order of the aggregates 🪷 මැදයම (Middle Watch) — Attaining the four paths and fruits 🪷 අලුයම (Dawn Watch) — Realizing Paticca Samuppāda (Dependent Origination) 🪷 උදයම (Sunrise) — The Himalayas trembled as Gautama became the Buddha Powered purely by the thunderous rhythm of two sacred Sri Lankan ritual drums—the Kandyan Geta Beraya and the Yak Beraya—accompanied by a commanding vocal in the classical Bera Padaya and Kavi tradition. No modern synths. Pure heritage. Pure rhythm. Pure devotion. Wes Natum percussion meets cinematic storytelling.
