Search and Rescue Boat Restoration

In February 2022, we accepted a donated ex-RAAF Search and Rescue Boat O2-06 for the Air Force Heritage Collection. The vessel was built in 1941 and saw service in Gippsland and Point Cook. The vessel was collected at Lakes Entrance and transported to Melbourne where it will undergo restoration – a project supported by royalties from the Air Force Centenary retail partners. #AusAirForce
