Is dating better in NYC or South Florida? That’s the question we try to answer in Episode 18 of 212 in the 305 — although we’re not sure either city comes out looking particularly good. 😂 My guest is my friend Maria Coletta, a Canadian-born Italian who spent several years living in New York City before trading NYC for Fort Lauderdale. Before getting into the fun stuff, we begin with a brief and heartfelt remembrance of September 11, 2001, 25 years later, including the incredible drone-light tribute displayed over New York City. Then we change gears and get into the main event: dating in NYC vs. South Florida. Maria and I compare notes on dating in New York, Miami and Fort Lauderdale — the people, the personalities, the expectations, the apps, and some of the unique challenges that come with trying to date in each place.
