Molar solubility | Molar solubility from Ksp - Dr K

In this video, we are going to look at molar solubility and solubility product constant, Ksp. We're going to start by looking at what is solubility. Then, we'll compare it with what is molar solubility and see what is the difference between molar solubility and solubility. The solubility product constant, which is Ksp is the product of the concentration of the ions that are present when the solute dissolves in the solvent. In our example, we are looking at the molar solubility of barium iodate in pure water. We start by writing the Ksp expression.
