Vocal Strength Coach Reacts to Missioned Souls – Crazy Train | FIRST TIME

Missioned Souls are back, and this time they’re taking on “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne, a song I’ve genuinely never been able to enjoy. Can this incredibly talented Filipino family finally change my mind? I’ve talked before about my complicated relationship with certain classic rock songs, particularly the contrast between darker instrumentation and brighter vocal melodies. “Crazy Train” has always been one of those songs for me. I love that iconic guitar riff, but something about the song’s vocal phrasing and overall composition has never quite worked for my ears. And somehow, Missioned Souls came closer than anyone ever has to changing that. Stacey delivered another fantastic vocal performance, although I have some questions about what sounded like additional processing on her microphone. Her natural voice is already so good that I would have loved to hear her tackle this song without the additional effects. Sometimes a different vocal texture is exactly what a familiar song needs. And Neisha? At this point, I’m running out of things to say about her guitar playing. She absolutely delivers every single time. I still have my reservations about the song itself, but I thoroughly enjoyed this performance.
