The Plague and the Sage – Slow Russian A1–A2

🎧 Slow Russian for Beginners (A1–A2) One day, a wise old man met the Plague on the road. He asked her: "Where are you going?" The Plague answered: "I am going to the big city. I will take five thousand lives." A few days later, the wise man met the Plague again. He asked: "Why did you take more lives than you promised?" The Plague answered: "I took only five thousand. The rest died of fear." This is a short but powerful parable about fear — and about how our own fear can be more dangerous than the danger itself.
