Meghan Markle’s Dad Thomas ARRESTED by the FBI in Child Sexual Abuse Investigation

Authorities arrested Thomas Markle Sr. in Florida on charges related to child sexual abuse material. A news release from the Department of Justice confirms Thomas is charged with one count of possession of child pornography. The FBI alleges agents seized approximately 78 items containing child sexual abuse material from two storage units he rents in Los Angeles. In October, Meghan Markle released a statement amid reports of an investigation into her estranged father, saying she was ‘deeply distressed at the news that has come to light, and my thoughts are with any child who may have been harmed.’ If convicted, the Duchess of Sussex's father faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.
