Old Hickory Kephart Style Modifications Start To Finish

This is a consolidated version of the Old Hickory Modification videos I previously posted. The original three separate videos were too long, tedious and boring. These are the steps I did to modify an Old Hickory 7" Butcher's Knife into a Kephart Style "Bushcraft" or Camp Knife. I trimmed and shaped the blade, squared off the spine, added contrasting wood liners to widen the handle, profiled the handle into a broomstick style which is surprisingly very comfortable then finished the handle with three coats of boiled linseed oil. This was my first attempt and overall I am pretty pleased with the results. I may do another one in the future with different handle scales.
