EVILBANE PLAYTEST ⚔️ SWORD TO CROSSBOW MID-FIGHT?! | LIVE

Apparently working the night shift wasn't bad enough… Now the CUSTOMERS ARE MONSTERS and I'm fighting them with RAMEN. 💀🍜 Today we're jumping into Mini Mart Survivors — a survivors-like roguelite set inside the mysterious SHIFT24 convenience store chain. Every shift throws endless waves of increasingly strange customers and monsters at us, and somehow the stuff sitting on the shelves is our arsenal. Ramen. Coffee. Snacks. Hot dogs. Basically, we're weaponising the entire convenience store. We’ll be surviving 10-minute night shifts, levelling up, combining upgrades to evolve our weapons and trying to make it to the boss waiting at the end of each run. But there’s more going on here than just surviving angry customers. EVILBANE lets me go from smashing demons with a GREATSWORD to pulling out a ranged weapon mid-fight. ⚔️💀 Yeah… I need to try this. Today we're jumping into the FIRST Steam Playtest for EVILBANE — a dark-fantasy action RPG from Netmarble Monster built around fast combat, weapon switching, character builds and challenging PvE Operations. We can freely swap between melee and ranged combat depending on the situation, with weapons ranging from one-handed swords and greatswords to crossbows, scattershot bows and magic orbs. There are also Heavenstone skills, weapon upgrades, Rune Engraving and a full character customisation system to start messing around with. And apparently some of the harder Operations are going to expect actual teamwork. That could be a problem. 💀 Today: ⚔️ Jumping into the EVILBANE Steam Playtest 🗡️ Trying out swords and greatswords 🏹 Switching into ranged weapons mid-fight 💀 Fighting our way through dark-fantasy enemies 👹 Taking on Operations and boss encounters ✨ Experimenting with Heavenstone skills 🔨 Upgrading weapons and testing Rune Engraving 🧙 Building our own character and combat setup 🔥 Seeing how difficult the harder Operations actually get 😂 Almost certainly choosing a massive sword whenever given the option EVILBANE is a dark-fantasy action RPG where the world has been shattered by the rise of the Archdemon. We play as warriors fighting to reclaim the kingdom while humans, demons and other factions tear what's left of it apart. The first Steam playtest includes 13 Operations across Easy, Normal and Hard difficulties, 18 Heavenstone skills and a mixture of melee and ranged weapons to unlock and upgrade.
