From Addiction to Hope: Jared's Story

Sometimes the road we choose doesn't lead where we hoped. But no matter where we've been, there's always hope for a new beginning. In this heartfelt interview, Jared Jacobson shares his journey from leaving his faith as a young adult, experiencing addiction and family challenges, becoming a single father, and eventually finding healing through Jesus Christ. He talks candidly about the struggles that followed years of partying and substance abuse, and the spiritual experiences that helped him rebuild his life. One of the most powerful messages in Jared's story is that change is possible, even when it feels out of reach. Through faith, support from leaders and loved ones, and a desire to move forward, he found peace, sobriety, and a renewed sense of purpose. "Change can happen. It can get better." "If you're struggling, it's worth every step." Whether you're a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, another faith, or simply searching for hope, Jared's story offers encouragement for anyone facing challenges, addiction, or feelings of not being good enough.
