Another video back at Newcastle Central Station for an morning of trainspotting. To celebrate 7K Subscribers, despite being off college, I headed here as there was sort of a diesel gala going on at the central station. 3 Class 56s and 1 Class 60. We did miss a Class 60 as we were on the bus when it passed. It was a nice session despite being cold and raining down which didn't disappoint. It was very interesting to see a DC Rail Freight Class 56 in the Provincical sidings. This locomotive was doing Route Learning for a new freight flow starting soon from Hexham Freight Yard which is something with stone or aggregates. DC Rail will be doing the honours which I think it will be either their 56s or 60s. It was nice when the Class 60 glided past on the slow line next to the 56. Class 60s are back on the Tyne Coal to Lynemouth Biomass Freight trains as GBRF tried to sell them but failed as no one wanted to by them. The Class 60s are way too good to be withdrawn and scrapped as majority from ESH Rail Services are getting reactivated.
We then saw the Tyne Tees RHTT Train which had 2 Class 56s and it was a nice sight to be seen. It was almost a diesel gala but around the Central station. We could of had the Class 37s, 47s, 50s and other diesel locomotives here but they aren't available in this session. The Colas 56s looked quite dirty after a long duty of grafting on the RHTT Train. The DC Rail 56 had the crew waiting until their scheldued departure time halfway through dinner time as Northern Class 156, 158 Sprinters were pathed in the station. It was quite sad that someone was hit by a train during this session which was south of York, My thoughts go to those person's family and the driver who was involved. Things can't be helped but there was some severely delayed trains in this video. The Class 56 was ready to leave on its way to Church Fenton for route learning. It was really nice seeing this Class 56 up north again. I can't wait to see the new Freight flow starting soon from Hexham so expect some videos on the Tyne Valley Line. In this Video, we see 14 Northern Trains, 8 LNER Trains, 4 Transpennine Express Trains, 4 Cross Country Trains, 1 Lumo Train, 1 Colas Rail Train, 1 DC Rail Freight Train and 1 GBRF Train. Lots of action as usual. I hope you have enjoyed this video! make sure to like and subscribe if you want more content like this!
