I Built a Portable Workshop with the Creality Falcon A1C

What if I could take my workshop with me instead of bringing every project back to the shop? In this video, I'm putting the Creality Falcon A1C laser engraver and cutter to the test—but not with a traditional review. I wanted to find out whether a compact laser engraver paired with a portable power station could become a genuinely useful portable workshop. I'm using the Falcon A1C for several real-world projects, including making a custom chicken coop sign, engraving dog tags, creating emergency pet markers, personalizing a truck hitch, and even adding my contact information to my everyday-carry wallet. The Falcon A1C comes with both a 10W diode laser and a 1.2W infrared (IR) laser, giving me the ability to work with materials I can't tackle with a 3D printer alone. I can cut and engrave wood, work with leather and other materials, and even mark certain metals with the IR laser. I'm also pairing the A1C with my Bambu Lab A1 Mini 3D printer to see how 3D printing and laser engraving can work together. For craft fairs, festivals, job sites, side hustles, or small businesses, being able to make and personalize products right in front of the customer opens up some really interesting possibilities. I started this experiment thinking I was testing a portable laser engraver.
