Anastacia Chemutai Kibor runs a duka, a small neighborhood shop, in Kayole, Nairobi. In this film, she talks about building her business with Smart Duka and what it has meant for her family and community. Dukas are everyday corner shops across Kenya. Smart Duka works with duka owners as partners, helping them grow their shops through training, digital tools, and better access to stock. We also hear from Alice Waweru, Director of Entrepreneurship Programs at TechnoServe, about why working directly with communities is central to the model. This film is part of elea's Impacted People series, made for elea's 20th anniversary. The series gives a voice to entrepreneurs whose lives are shaped by ventures in the elea portfolio.
