HUMBLE ENOUGH TO BE LIFTED | Catholic Morning Prayer | October 31, 2026 Begin Saturday, October 31, 2026, with this Catholic Morning Prayer from Sacred Echoes of Grace. Through Luke 14:1, 7–11, Jesus teaches us that true greatness does not come from seeking the highest place, competing for recognition, or proving our importance. The Lord invites us to choose humility, serve with sincere hearts, and trust God to lead us according to His wisdom. Today's Gospel challenges us to examine our motives. Do we become discouraged when our efforts go unnoticed? Do we compare ourselves with others or struggle to celebrate their success? Christ reminds us that our worth does not depend on applause or status. We are called to use our gifts in service, treat every person with dignity, and remain faithful even when our work is hidden. As we pray together, we offer God our responsibilities, hopes, worries, relationships, and personal intentions. We ask Him to free us from pride, envy, and the desire for approval, replacing them with gratitude, patience, generosity, and humble obedience. On the Memorial of Saint Wolfgang of Regensburg, may his example of faithful service inspire us to live our responsibilities for the good of others. Through the Most Holy Rosary, may the Blessed Virgin Mary lead us closer to Jesus, whose humility reveals the way to true holiness.
