Take a bike ride with me through part of Het Twiske. Love all of the trees and the lake is so pretty! Het Twiske is a recreation and nature reserve and a typical North Holland peat lake area in the Zaan region. It is located northwest of Amsterdam and belongs to the municipalities of Landsmeer and Oostzaan. Recreation area Het Twiske has an area of 650 hectares. It owes its name to the river of the same name.
