Structure Fire (09/29/26)

We were dispatched to a reported structure fire with someone possibly still inside. Upon arrival, heavy fire and smoke could be seen coming from one side of the structure. I made a quick transitional attack, cooling the main fire area off prior to breaching the front door, and attempting to advance to the fire while my partner searched the structure. We ended up not finding a victim on the primary search, and I wasn't able to reach the fire room due to a lack of hose. We backed out of the structure and were notified about where the possible victim would typically be. I grabbed a ladder and pike pole to make entry through a window on the far side of the structure. My partner and I searched the remaining parts of the structure and found no victim. After the fire was extinguished, we were notified that the victim was not home at the time of the fire. No one was hurt or injured at the time of the fire. Enjoy.
