60s and 70s Heartthrobs Then and Now: 9 of 15 Are Still With Us

Their faces were on the covers of Tiger Beat and 16 magazine, and their posters hung on bedroom walls across America. Of the fifteen rock and pop heartthrobs of the 1960s and 70s in this video, nine are still with us in 2026: Shaun Cassidy (68), Donny Osmond (68), Peter Frampton (76), Rick Springfield (77), Robert Plant (78), Peter Noone (78), Barry Gibb (80), Micky Dolenz (81) and Engelbert Humperdinck (90). Where they came from, the songs that made them stars, and how their stories went on: Jim Morrison, Andy Gibb, Davy Jones, David Cassidy, Les McKeown and Bobby Sherman, and the nine heartthrobs still with us today. Ages are as of October 2026. In memory of Bobby Sherman (1943–2025). Facts in this video were checked against Wikipedia and the news reports, obituaries and references it cites.
