Mt. Fuji, Japan | Autumn Vlog | 3 Days in Fujikawaguchiko 🗻🍁

We spent 3 slow days in Kawaguchiko in November, staying in a beautiful hotel with what might just have been one of the best views of Mt Fuji in Kawaguchiko. Every morning, we would look out almost instinctively to see if Fuji-san was there. And somehow, every single day, it was. 🗻 Mt Fuji is famously unpredictable. It can be perfectly visible one moment and disappear behind clouds the next. When you stay for two or three nights, you give yourself several mornings, several sunsets and several completely ordinary moments in which the mountain might suddenly appear. In November, The air is cooler and clearer, the autumn colours are beautiful, and your chances of getting those crisp views of Mt Fuji are generally much better than during the humid summer months. And do share your thoughts in the comments Over three days we explored: 🗻 Lake Kawaguchiko One of the easiest and most beautiful places to base yourself around Mt Fuji. 🍜 Local restaurants Instead of chasing only famous places, we ate at small local restaurants and discovered another side of Kawaguchiko 🏔️ Mt Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station The closest we got to Fuji itself. The Fifth Station feels completely different from viewing Fuji across a lake. 🍁 Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba A beautifully restored traditional village near Lake Saiko, with thatched-roof houses set against the mountains. ⛩️ Chureito Pagoda Yes, you've probably seen this view on a thousand postcards 🏘️ Fujiyoshida A gateway to Mt Fuji. Spend some time walking through the town itself. 🌊 Lake Yamanakako / Lake Yamanaka The largest of the Fuji Five Lakes and another beautiful place from which to see Mt Fuji. If you're planning 3 days in Kawaguchiko, I wouldn't try to fill every hour. Fuji is one of those places where leaving some empty space in your itinerary actually makes the trip better.
