JOHANNESBURG TO SANI PASS | KLR650 ADVENTURE — PART 1 The adventure begins. After months of planning, preparation and wondering whether I was actually ready for it… it was finally time to leave Johannesburg and point Impi, my Kawasaki KLR650, South towards Sani Pass and Lesotho. This is Part 1 of the journey — leaving Johannesburg and making my way towards the legendary Sani Pass. There are long stretches of open road, unexpected stops, beautiful South African scenery, a few laughs, plenty of kilometers and that growing feeling that the real adventure is getting closer with every kilometer. The destination was Sani Pass. But, as I've learned, the journey to the adventure is often an adventure in itself. This isn't a polished travel show. It's one rider, one KLR, a camera full of footage and a desire to get out there and see where the road leads.
