5 Non Negotiable’s For A VW Princess

Home is where you park it… but we can make it a bit more comfortable! 😂 Autumn campervanning doesn’t have to mean roughing it. If I’m going to spend cold nights in the campervan, I want to be warm, cosy, comfortable and very well fed — because apparently I’m a camper princess! In this video I’m sharing my 5 winter campervan essentials / non-negotiables that make life on the road so much more enjoyable, especially when the weather is cold, wet and miserable. 1. Air fryer + heat protector pad Because I absolutely do not want to be cooking sausages myself every morning! An air fryer is one of my favourite cooking essentials. I can make breakfast, sausages, chips and all sorts of easy meals without having to spend ages cooking. I also use a heat-resistant protector pad to help protect the campervan worktop when using the air fryer. 2. Full fluffy duvet setup No sleeping bags here! I want a proper fluffy duvet, proper pillows and a cosy bed setup. If I’m going winter campervanning, I want my campervan bed to feel like a little hotel room on wheels. A comfortable campervan bed makes such a difference on those cold winter nights. 3. Toaster pockets for crispy hash browns 🥔 This one is a game changer if you love a hash brown! I cook a batch of hash browns at home, keep them in the fridge and then use toaster pockets to reheat them in the campervan until they’re lovely and crispy again. Perfect for an easy campervan breakfast without having to get the frying pan out first thing in the morning. 4. Cafetière + proper coffee mugs ☕️ I love a proper coffee when I’m camping, so a cafetière/French press and my favourite coffee mugs are coming with me. There’s something about waking up in a campervan, putting the kettle on and having a proper coffee while looking out at the winter scenery that makes campervanning so special. 5. Packing cubes 👑🚐 Because even in a tiny campervan, I need to know where everything is! I’ll pack outfits, underwear, pyjamas and all my cosy winter bits into separate cubes, so I can just grab what I need without rummaging through the cupboards.
