Is this the UK's most beautiful railway?! 😍🇬🇧 Today I'm reacting to a video about the Settle & Carlisle Line, one of Britain's most spectacular railway journeys through the Yorkshire Dales and northern England. Running between Leeds and Carlisle, this railway travels through some absolutely incredible countryside — but there's much more to the story than just beautiful scenery. The Settle-Carlisle Line has a fascinating history, including the incredible engineering involved in building it, the stunning landscapes it passes through, and the fact that it nearly faced closure in the 1980s. And honestly... once you see some of the scenery along this route, it's pretty easy to understand why people fought so hard to save it. 😂 The line includes some incredible sights, including Ribblehead Viaduct, the Yorkshire Dales, dramatic moorland, tunnels, valleys and some of the most beautiful railway scenery I've seen in my reactions so far. So today I'm finding out: 🚂 What makes the Settle-Carlisle Line so special? 🏔️ Is it really the UK's most beautiful railway? 😳 Why did British Rail want to close it? 🏗️ How was this incredible railway actually built? 🇬🇧 And what makes this journey such an important part of Britain's railway history?
