The student-run Cambridge Union has hosted debates for over 200 years. Arguably its most famous debate was between two intellectuals from the USA about race relations and the American Dream. We take a look back on the legacy of the 1965 debate between James Baldwin and William F. Buckley Jr with the help of undergraduate student Neha and PhD candidate Darold Cuba.
