Her goal is simple: Create art, community, and make a positive difference along the way. Her community name, The Tofu, is inspired by the Japanese (Shinto/Buddhism) lore of the Kitsune. Offerings of tofu are given at shrines to appease and please kitsune, who are believed to petition the deity, Inari Okami (deity of rice, agriculture, prosperity), to ensure good harvests, business success, and protection from malicious spirits.
