Rally Project: Tamiya TL01 RA Rebuild / Upgrade Series - Episode 6

Videos are back. After illness and a camping holiday I finally had a chance to make a video. There now should hopefully be a more regular upload schedule. The old Corally motor is dead. It ran for a good 6-7 years but after no maintenance and a lot of abuse it finally gave up on a rainy day and died. I shall try and get the footage of that run uploaded soon. I felt it was time to upgrade the gearing of the car anyway. I wanted some more speed so I got a higher tooth pinion and the TL01 speed tuned gear set. The turn limit of the ESC is 27 turns so the dirt tuned motor sounded good, and apt. Finally, when I was taking the car apart last time, I noticed some of the bearings had seized. This was because when I did the first upgrade series, I used metal sealed bearings instead of plastic sealed and water caused a little bit of rust. So new bearings are on the agenda too, as well as some fresh grease and a clean. I was suffering from severe man flu at the time of filming so that's why there's no commentary, just music.
