Game Info --------------------------------------------------- Developer: Sega Publisher: Sega Year of Release: 1990 Game Review & Impressions --------------------------------------------------- Dick Tracy on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive was a cool fusion of Cabal meets run-and-gun platformer, featuring the comic-book detective. I rented the cartridge a couple of times and thought it was pretty good fun at the time. Given the simplistic game model, I'd expected the Master System version to be pretty good too, although I was deeply mistaken. It's a very, boring slideshow of a game, one which lacks any real excitement. The enemies have a propensity to either spawn so that you see and shoot them before their AI kicks in, or they spawn continuously during the end-of-level boss fights, prolonging already frustrating encounters even longer This version if the game is such a disappointment, it should be covered in concrete and dumped at the bottom of the sea.
