Ten years of war, one frame per week. Twenty-seven field armies, fifty-one battles with their losses, and a map of Europe that changes colour every time a country changes sides – from the march on Ulm in August 1805 to the second Peace of Paris in November 1815.
Blue is France and its allies, red the coalitions against it. Each dot is 1,000 men; each × is 1,000 battle casualties, left where they fell. No narration.
