Hi! I'm Tuma, a Japanese woman living in Japan 🫶 Today, I’m sharing a simple bento I used to make when I was still working. I hope you enjoy it 🍱🤍 ▶ RECIPE Sanshoku Bento (Japanese Three-Color Bento Lunch Box) Ingredients (1 serving) Rice ・Cooked rice (white rice mixed with barley) – about 1 bowl Soboro (seasoned ground meat) ・Ground pork – 100 g ・Ginger – a little ・Mentsuyu (Japanese noodle sauce) – 1–2 tsp ・Mirin – 1 tsp ・Salt & pepper – to taste Scrambled Eggs ・Eggs – 2 ・Shiro-dashi – a small splash Toppings ・Broccoli – a few florets ・Mayonnaise – a little (optional) ・Sakura denbu (pink sweet fish flakes) – optional Instructions Cook rice and set aside. Make soboro: Stir-fry ground pork in a pan until crumbly. Add ginger, mentsuyu, mirin, salt, and pepper. Simmer briefly and adjust seasoning. Make scrambled eggs: Scramble eggs in a pan and season lightly with shiro-dashi. Assemble the bento: Fill a lunch box with rice and arrange the soboro, scrambled eggs, and broccoli in rows to create the classic Japanese three-color bento (Sanshoku Bento). This simple Japanese bento lunch is popular in Japan and perfect for easy meal prep, work lunches, or homemade Japanese lunch boxes🍱✌️ Your support helps me keep sharing good food and simple moments ☕️ Thank you always 🤍 🍙 https://buymeacoffee.com/Tumadaily
