The Most Overpriced & Underpriced Skin for EVERY CS2 Weapon

Prices in Counter-Strike stopped making sense a long time ago, so we measured it. We pulled every sale on Skinport from the last 90 days, more than 370,000 sales across 1,400 gun skins, and compared every skin with the typical skin of the same rarity on any weapon. That gives one simple number: how many times its rarity a skin costs. For all 35 weapons in CS2, here is the most overpriced skin (the price has nothing to do with the looks) and the most underpriced one (way more skin than you pay for). Spoiler: almost every overpriced skin comes from an old collection that doesn't drop anymore, sitting on a trade-up ladder that ends in a famous skin. Almost every underpriced one comes from a case, a souvenir package or the Armory. How the data works: Skinport public sales history (last 90 days, pulled 3 November 2026). "Typical price" = the average of each skin's median sale price across its wears, weighted by number of sales, StatTrak and Souvenir excluded. "Times its rarity" = typical price / median typical price of all gun skins of the same rarity (Consumer $0.39, Industrial $0.53, Mil-Spec $1.11, Restricted $3.88, Classified $15.96, Covert $89.11). Collection and Armory history from Valve's patch notes, the Counter-Strike wiki and SteamDB. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 A $68 can of red paint 0:25 How we measured it 1:17 Zeus: Dragon Snore / Olympus 2:13 Glock-18: Fade / Gold Toof 3:17 USP-S: Royal Blue / Printstream 4:20 P2000: Silver / Wicked Sick 5:15 P250: Nuclear Threat / Kintsugi 6:03 Five-SeveN: Candy Apple / Angry Mob 6:59 Tec-9: Terrace / Remote Control 7:42 CZ75-Auto: Emerald Quartz / Yellow Jacket 8:30 Dual Berettas: Emerald / Twin Turbo 9:15 R8 Revolver: Phoenix Marker / Amber Fade 10:09 Desert Eagle: Blaze / Printstream 11:07 MAC-10: Surfwood / Stalker 11:58 MP9: Pandora's Box / Food Chain 12:44 MP7: Whiteout / Bloodsport 13:28 MP5-SD: Bamboo Garden / Phosphor 14:06 UMP-45: Minotaur's Labyrinth / Wild Child 14:46 P90: Astral Jörmungandr / Nostalgia 15:29 PP-Bizon: Bamboo Print / Space Cat 16:11 Nova: Baroque Orange / Wild Six 16:49 XM1014: Red Leather / Entombed 17:32 Sawed-Off: First Class / Kiss Love 18:09 MAG-7: Chainmail / Justice 18:46 Negev: CaliCamo / dev_texture 19:28 M249: Shipping Forecast / Emerald Poison Dart 20:03 G3SG1: Violet Murano / Flux 20:38 SCAR-20: Brass / Cardiac 21:15 SSG 08: Mayan Dreams / Fever Dream 21:52 Galil AR: Aqua Terrace / Chromatic Aberration 22:34 FAMAS: Spitfire / Commemoration 23:10 SG 553: Bulldozer / Cyrex 23:52 AUG: Hot Rod / Death by Puppy 24:46 M4A4: Daybreak / Temukau 25:34 M4A1-S: Icarus Fell / Solitude 26:22 AK-47: Hydroponic / Aphrodite 27:34 AWP: Gungnir / Chrome Cannon 28:43 What we learned Which skin on this list did you think was a bargain, and which one do you think we got wrong?
