Restoring a Rusted Pocket Stove in a 1㎡ Hideout｜Metal Polishing ASMR

A pocket stove gone orange with rust, filed back, polished, and brought out again — one quiet afternoon in a one-square-meter backyard hideout. It starts with the file. The rust comes away as a fine dust that settles on the steel tray, and the surface underneath turns from orange to grey, panel by panel, hinge by hinge. Then the polish. A cloth, a little compound, and the grey begins to brighten — the residue going black on the tray as the shine comes up, until the stamped mark on the lid stands out again. A light rain passes through partway. Nothing gets covered, and nothing stops. At the end an alcohol stove is filled and lit, and a conical cup goes over the flame for a bowl of wakame seaweed soup. The finished stove sits on the tray while it is drunk. No talking, no music.
