Kreator - Command Of The Blade Bass Cover (40th Anniversary Edition)

Celebrating 40 years of Pleasure To Kill by Kreator. I will at least try to upload one song of the album per month from now on. Today: Command Of The Balde! Maybe this is just misinformation I've heard somewhere (and somewhen), but this song was actually supposed to be Kreator's self-titled track since it refers to the demon "Kreator" they got their name from. Even though this song (once again) features a lot of up-tempo parts, it's probably one of the easier/easiest songs on the album to follow with since Juelle/Ventor does a lot of cymbal accentuation throughout the verses. The main riff can sometimes get kinda confusing (like I accidentally reversed it during the transition into verse 2) but other than that, not much to write home about. I slided a bit too far up at one point going back into the verse, though. Happens. The phrygian section quite at the end of the track is actually interesting but man, it's a mess to follow once we go back to the up-tempo part and the vocals kick in. Not gonna lie. Listening to the isolated guitar tracks made me think guitar 1 does straight 16th note during the chorus whilst guitar 2 does gallops...so I tried to mirror that by doing chorus one straight and the last chorus as gallops. Last but not least: Under The Guillotine. Going to be released somewhen in November.
