EP.75 Snake Pit Thoughts + Meeting Metallica Artist Squindo!

What was supposed to be a day off from Metallica activities turned into another pretty incredible Metallica day in Las Vegas! 🤘 I start Episode 75 talking about the previous night at the Sphere and what it was actually like experiencing the show from inside the Snake Pit compared to watching a Metallica show from a more traditional seat. The Snake Pit gives you a completely different perspective—especially when you’re that close to the band—but there are definitely some tradeoffs when the Sphere itself is such a huge part of the show. After some family time in the morning, I head back to the Metallica Black Box Experience because I managed to book a Q&A and Meet & Greet with Squindo, the artist behind years of Metallica artwork. Things didn’t exactly go according to plan. I got there late, couldn’t get a proper seat for the Q&A, and I was definitely a little frustrated. Eventually I found a spot outside where I could still watch and listen, which made the experience a lot better. After the Q&A, I finally got the chance to meet Squindo and have him sign a poster for me—definitely another awesome piece of Metallica history to bring home from this trip!
