What if Bethany Survived & Joined the A Team?

What if Sara Harvey and Bethany Young had swapped roles in Pretty Little Liars? One of the biggest missed opportunities in PLL was the way the show handled the stories of Sara Harvey and Bethany Young. Both characters were connected to Alison, the Dollhouse, Charlotte, and the larger mystery surrounding Rosewood—but their potential was never fully explored. So in this Pretty Little Liars rewrite, I'm rewriting their stories from the beginning and asking what would happen if Sara Harvey and Bethany Young had swapped roles. How would Alison's disappearance change? What happens to the Dollhouse? Would the Liars discover the truth sooner? And could Sara's storyline have finally had the payoff it deserved? I'll be reworking the mystery, character motivations, relationships, and reveals to create a version of PLL where Sara and Bethany actually feel essential to the story rather than like loose ends. This is another installment of The Ending We Deserved, where I take the stories we love and rewrite the parts that could have been so much better.
