A Morning Walk in Litochoro | Discover Pieria Differently

What does a quiet morning in Litochoro feel like? This morning, I left home and walked up to Agia Paraskevi, in the upper part of Litochoro, Pieria. From the back of the church, a small path leads into the foothills of Mount Olympus and towards the E4. It is a relatively easy, short walk. At my walking pace, it took around 10 minutes to reach an open point where the forest suddenly gives way to a beautiful view. Below, Litochoro. Red-tiled roofs, green trees and gardens, the Aegean Sea stretching into the distance and disappearing into the Thermaic Gulf. It was a warm October morning. People were already starting their day, while dogs were finding sunny corners to enjoy the morning light and locals had already prepared their firewood for the colder months ahead. There is no music and no narration in this video. Just the sound of the morning — footsteps, birds, the wind and the natural sounds of the mountain. This is not a hiking guide or a challenging trail.
