On Day 7, disaster finally caught up with us. After an incredible morning at Wheels Through Time, we rode up the Blue Ridge Parkway toward Clingmans Dome, unaware that the next few miles would erase nearly three days of footage. Just before Big Witch Overlook, my Insta360 popped off the mount and vanished into the trees. We searched for over an hour, came back the next day, and found nothing but the lonely battery. With the camera gone, so were Day 5, Day 6, and half of Day 7 — but the adventure didn’t stop. What you see here is everything we managed to salvage from our phone photos.
