Sandingan Island is located off the western coast of Bohol and is connected to mainland Loon by a causeway, providing direct road access between the island and the main provincial highway. Leaving the island area, the drive passes through Loon before continuing south along the western side of Bohol. The route travels through Maribojoc and Cortes, showing a mix of coastal communities, residential areas, roadside businesses, churches, farmland, coconut trees, and occasional views toward the Cebu Strait. As the journey approaches Tagbilaran City, the road environment gradually becomes busier with more commercial buildings, traffic, intersections, schools, and residential neighborhoods. Tagbilaran City is the provincial capital of Bohol and an important center for government services, shopping, education, healthcare, and transportation. Tagbilaran Port serves ferry passengers traveling between Bohol and other islands, including Cebu, depending on current routes and schedules.
