1959 Knight-Kit Wireless Broadcaster and Amplifier

This small kit from Allied Radio only cost around $12 in the late 1950's. Its crystal microphone was another $2. Many of these kits were sold. My example is beat up: one destroyed 50C5 tube and another 50C5 that tests bad. The microphone has seen better days too. Maybe someday I'll try to get it working. There's a lot of information available on the internet about these. I'll link to a couple of them, but you can find more too. https://people.ohio.edu/postr/bapix/K... http://www.knightkit.com/ http://web.archive.org/web/2008101010...
