Doggone Tired (1949) | A Pixel Rerun Favorite

Welcome to Pixel Rerun! This is one of my favorite classic cartoons and you can find it in the Public Domain. I hope you enjoy it! Doggone Tired" is a classic 1949 MGM animated short film directed by Tex Avery. An eager hunting dog named Speedy is brought to a cabin in the woods by his owner to hunt rabbits. Told that they need a good night's sleep before hunting at dawn, Speedy tries to sleep. A crafty rabbit overhears this and uses endless slapstick gags, explosions, and noises to keep Speedy awake all night so he will be too tired to hunt in the morning.
