Paddy has performed solo, in duets, and with a range of groups, most notably as a founding member of The Bothy Band—the groundbreaking ensemble that helped free Irish traditional music from convention and bring it to a new generation.His driving, highly rhythmic and colourful playing has emerged within the Traveller style, but uniquely interpreted by him. Paddy’s music continues to shape and inspire contemporary piping.
