Longsword Sparring: Robert Kraaijeveld vs Colin Miraglio (HEMA - Historical Fencing)

Longsword sparring bout between Robert Kraaijeveld from Zwaard&Steen and myself during Bladeworks 2024 organised by the Medieval Combat Group in Belfast. We had 2 sparring bouts, I will post the second one next week. My fights with Robert were very enjoyable, he's a very technical and controlled fencer as well as a great grappler, and we were both able to use a wide variety of German longsword techniques during this fight.
