Nandpur Fort is 40 Kilometers away from Kangra.The distance from Pathankot to Nandpur Fort is between 68 to 70 km.You can come here very comfortably from both Kangra and Pathankot sides by traveling by train.Train travel gives a wonderful experience. From here you will often see Dhauladhar hills. But one problem with the train is that due to the breakdown of Chakki bridge, only limited trains run here. So you should know a little about the train and about the journey before taking the ticket. Nandpur Bhatoli is a wonderful fort and palace of the princely state of Guler. It is known internationally for its miniature art and paintingsPaintings here were at their peak from 15th to 18th century. This fort is associated with medieval history. You can see some pictures of paintings in my video. After the 18th century, it lost its existence and the art gradually went extinct. But there is a great need for all of us to come forward to save its existence.However, workshops are also held here from time to time. In which artists from far off places take part in this workshop and cooperate.
