I headed to Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok for the first leg of the 2026 ASEAN Cup Final as Thailand took on defending champions Vietnam in one of Southeast Asia’s biggest football rivalries. The atmosphere around the stadium was incredible as thousands of Thai and Vietnamese football fans arrived for the huge final. In this video, I take you inside the fan experience at Rajamangala Stadium, from the build-up and supporters outside the ground to the atmosphere inside the stadium and the action on the pitch. Vietnam ultimately came away with a 2–0 victory, with Nguyen Hai Long and Nguyen Quang Hai scoring in the second half, giving Vietnam a big advantage heading into the second leg in Hanoi.
