Gonna Paint the Town - Michael Daves & Friends (Stanley Brothers)

Michael Daves - guitar Tatiana Hargreaves - fiddle BB Bowness - banjo Cesar Moreno - mandolin Erik Alvar - bass Here's a bluegrass dispatch from the dressing rooms of Carnegie Hall, where we're getting ready to play a week of shows for Musical Explorers, a curriculum of music from around the world for kids K-2. We're on the bill with Makobi doing Kenyan songs and Zulal doing Armenian folk. Should be a blast and hopefully we'll help get some NYC kids pumped about bluegrass music! This Sunday, May 12 we'll be doing a public show at The Jalopy Theatre in Brooklyn, NY. Get your tickets here while you can: https://www.viewcy.com/e/michael_dave... This song is Gonna Paint The Town, from the Stanley Brothers. It's basically the same as Going To The Races, just more sad and debaucherous. #stanleybrothers #bluegrassguitar #musicalexplorers #gonnapaintthetown Offical Website - http://www.michaeldaves.com/ Join Monthly Music Newsletter - http://eepurl.com/bKProb School of Bluegrass Vocals on ArtistWorks - https://artistworks.com/bluegrass-voc...
