In 2021, a team led by Matthew Bennett published 61 human footprints from White Sands National Park, New Mexico, and dated the layers around them with seeds to about 22,900 to 21,100 years ago. Critics warned the seeds could read too old, pointing to a spring plant collected in 1947 that dated to about 7,400 years. In 2023, pollen at about 75,000 grains per sample and buried quartz grains gave matching ages, and in 2025 a third lab dated the lake mud to 20,700 to 22,400 years. The story most Americans learned puts the first Americans at about 13,000 years ago. So why has no one found a single tool beside the tracks? Subscribe to the channel: @thelastlayer-j7s In this video, we talk about what the White Sands footprints actually show, including the Clovis discovery at Blackwater Draw in 1929, the 2021 Science paper and its seed dates, the hard water critique, the 2023 pollen and quartz retest, the 2024 Unresolved and Resolved exchange, the 2025 lake mud dates, the missing artifacts, the Netflix lost civilization claim, and the Acoma Pueblo monitors who help protect the tracks. 🔔 Subscribe for more stories where the record no longer matches the version everyone learned. 💬 Comment where you're watching from and whether the White Sands dates convince you. 📢 Share this on Facebook, Reddit or in your group chats, because viewers like you are the reason this channel keeps digging.
