Introduction of the principal characters… In the first scene, the rebel Chichita, is taken prisoner, while Diego, a.k.a. Zorro, watches, powerless. Chichita is to be executed during the party to celebrate Diego's homecoming, but, in the nick of time, Zorro appears and frees him.
